Look no further! WebCreek is currently recruiting a Sr. QA Engineer (Manual and Automation) with a minimum of six years of experience and excellent English communication skills.

This role offers a fully remote position in Latin America.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and refine comprehensive test plans tailored to complex applications.


• Deconstruct solutions into test cases that optimize coverage and minimize risk.


• Create dependable and relevant test automation systems.


• Enhance test automation frameworks to accommodate new functionalities.


• Evaluate and provide recommendations on the testability of user stories, encompassing acceptance criteria, non-functional requirements, and the definition of done.

What You Have

Must Have Skills:

• Minimum of 6 years of QA experience, with a strong background in functional testing and hands-on automation coding.


• Experience in testing event-driven architecture-based applications utilizing service bus technologies.


• Proficiency in testing NoSQL databases, particularly Cosmos DB.


• Strong API testing skills, including experience with GraphQL and REST APIs.


• Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English.


• Possess a keen attention to detail coupled with the ability to quickly grasp new concepts and taks.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience with data analytics projects is considered advantageous.


• Familiarity with testing applications native to the Azure cloud platform.


• Demonstrated ability to automate integration tests for Serverless architectures using Azure resources.


• Expertise in end-to-end functional automation using Playwright with TypeScript.


• Comprehensive understanding of API testing methodologies, including hands-on experience with tools such as Postman (for manual testing), Xunit, C#, RestSharp (for automated testing), and graphQLClient.


• Exposure to data pipelines and Data Lake concepts.


• Experience in testing both MySQL and MSSQL databases.


• Experience with Cosmos Client for data ingestion is also advantageous.


• Holding an Azure Fundamentals certification is a plus.

Experience and Education Requirements:

• Strong background in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.


• Proficiency with at least one DevOps and CI/CD pipeline tool (e.g., ADO, Jenkins, Bamboo, Harness).


• Solid understanding of repository and version control systems such as BitBucket, GitHub, and Git Bash.


• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred.

• Provides advice within an area of expertise and may contribute to development of organization functional strategy.
