The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis will assist the Director of Finance Operations, Strategic FP&A in all areas of FP&A including development and implementation of the annual financial plan (operating and capital budget), productivity reporting and analysis, forecasting, data and benchmark report submissions, reporting as well as monthly performance against budget. The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis will be responsible for leading the implementation, use, adoption and enhancements of various budget, departmental reporting, and productivity tools. Collects and analyzes data to evaluate operational difficulties and makes recommendations to solve problems. Follows established modeling and evaluation processes to determine the effectiveness of current operational activities and to determine problem areas and develop solutions. Oversees workflow, process improvement efforts and manages a variety of projects. The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis possess strong analytical skills and applies critical thinking to identify and solve problems. The right candidate for this role is highly motivated, detailed oriented, well-organized, embraces change, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Is responsible for building and maintaining close working relationships with operational and clinical leaders throughout the health system.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree
3 Years of Experience
Knowledge of effective organizational and management principles/techniques
Knowledge of methods and techniques of data, financial and process analyses
Experience in a supervisory capacity and the ability to direct and develop others
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficiency with data processing and computer applications (including Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's in Finance, Accounting or Healthcare related field
5+ years of healthcare finance, budget, and accounting experience
Knowledge of principles and practices of finance administration in accounting, budgeting, and productivity
Experience in healthcare productivity benchmarks and reporting
Knowledge of healthcare operations and services
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing with all levels of employees up to senior leadership level
The expected hiring range for this position is $52.95 to $72.81
