JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for producing and leading a mortgage sales team toward achieving production goals. Responsible for consulting, partnering, creating, and conducting training as well as designing training solutions and overall mortgage education for new hires.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Educate new hires on mortgage education and Encompass through support and training sessions (i.e., virtual, recorded, and/or onsite)

  • Actively support and promote Texana Banks’ processes, procedures, and culture.

  • Stay abreast of industry, policy and product changes.

  • Responsible to drive profitability monthly loan volume goals and conversion metrics

  • Ensures team members are held accountable to Company production, activity, and quality standards.

  • Ensure accuracy of loan data to mitigate quality issues.

  • Participate in the development, documentation, training and implementation of departmental policies and procedures

  • Responsible for interviewing & hiring new sales staff

  • Responsible for providing other departmental leaders with written feedback for the purpose of improving overall corporate operational efficiency

  • Responsible for forecasting departmental staffing needs based on projected workload

  • Conduct annual performance reviews with direct reports

  • Responsible for meeting Texana Bank’s commitment to compliance

  • Other duties as assigned with the role.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Minimum of three (3) years related experience in the mortgage industry as a Sales manager

  • Advanced knowledge of mortgage lending programs.

  • Must be proficient in Encompass

  • 1+ years of experience in training/development

  • Proficiency in MS Office and mortgage software

  • Comprehension of lending procedures.

  • In-depth understanding of relevant rules and regulations.

  • Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment as well as part of a team.

  • Ability to analyze information and make informed decisions.

  • Strong organization skills and detail oriented.

  • Excellent communication and sales skills.
