Insurance Accounting Conversion Analyst

Recent and anticipated acquisitions across the US are requiring the addition to our team! The Jr. Insurance Accounting Conversion Analyst will be instrumental in the build out of our exciting growth initiatives


You will be responsible for partnering with the Operations Department during the conversion process for Risk Strategies & One80 Intermediaries branches to ensure a smooth conversion on to one of our core accounting platforms, primarily focusing on D365 and IMS/MGA Systems. This includes both accounting conversion projects and other projects related the D365 and IMS/MGA Systems. This position will report to the Accounting Conversion and Integration Manager and support the Accounting Conversion Analysts


Your Impact:

• Assist to ensure transition to Risk/One80 bank accounts is completed prior to acquisition


• Carrier Mapping


• Work collaboratively with Operations, M&A Accounting, and Treasury


• Manage project milestones


• Coordinate with meetings with consultants for D365 conversions


• Participate in conversion meetings as required


• Support post conversion issue resolution


• All other duties pertaining to conversions and/or other duties as assigned from time to time

Successful Candidate will have:

• Minimum of 2+ years in finance & accounting within Insurance industry


• College degree preferred


• Knowledge of AMS360, IMS/MGA Systems, Epic, and/or D365 preferred


• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment


• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Exceptional organization and time-management skills


• Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications, esp. Microsoft Office Suite and comfort working in a paperless environment

At Risk Strategies Company, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings, The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $58,000.00 - $68,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
