Summary
This position will support the Senior Manager, Regulatory Compliance in the day-to-day management of all regulatory compliance. Responsible for building a culture and record of compliance with NERC standards. Will serve as a federal and state regulatory Subject Matter Expert and work collaboratively and cross functionally on compliance related issues across the US portfolio.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with NERC standards, serving as a federal and state regulatory Subject Matter Expert, and collaborating across the US portfolio on compliance-related issues. This role encompasses tasks such as developing replicable processes, assessing regulatory obligations, managing regulatory logins, and coordinating compliance documentation
Who we're looking for



Knowledge



  • Sound knowledge of generation and transmission systems

  • Knowledge and understanding of the US Energy Regulatory regime

Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, (business, public policy, or energy related preferred) or demonstrated experience working in compliance

Experience



  • 3-5 years’ experience in a renewable energy related field preferred, but not required

  • Ability to multi-task in support of cross functional requirements while diligently meeting required deadlines with accuracy and consistency

  • Ability to work off deadlines and meet them

  • Proficiency in MS Suite required; experience in data and workflow management and use of enterprise software platforms preferred

  • Detailed oriented with strong process and organization skills
