Enrollment Advisor
Teachers of Tomorrow seeks a dynamic and enthusiastic Enrollment Advisor to be responsible for guiding teacher intern candidates through the process of enrolling in the alternative teaching program. The ideal candidate will be a passionate self-starter with an affinity for sales and customer service, who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position is eligible for a hybrid or remote work schedule. The starting pay for this position is $20.00/hr.

About the Position
The Enrollment Advisor will develop relationships with new and existing candidates, guiding them through the enrollment process and helping to develop a plan for successful progression into the program. Through a deep understanding of the tools and resources offered, the advisor will leverage their genuine care and curiosity to identify needs and solutions, troubleshooting issues while encouraging optimism and determination on their path toward success. This position will support candidates from multiple states and will be required to learn certification requirements for all locations.



  • Key Responsibilities

    • Highly skilled in relationship building and active listening.

    • Communicates with new and existing candidates via telephone, email, and live chat to build rapport and assist with the application and enrollment process.

    • Communicates effectively with candidates to determine their certification goals and how our program can aid the candidate in meeting those goals.

    • Subject matter expert for candidates regarding state and program requirements.

    • Highlighting state expertise to candidate through effective communication of program features and benefits to encourage the candidate to move through the enrollment process, enrolling the candidate in the program.

    • Highly skilled in needs assessment to effectively problem solve and support the progression of new and existing candidates to enroll in the program.

    • Maintains an elevated level of customer service, positive working attitude, and collaborates with other team members as needed.

    • Manages day-to-day tasks related to supporting and tracking potential candidates and current candidates progress to enrollment.

    • Ensures that policies, procedures, and communication with candidates are documented in their account.

    • Reviews accounts to make sure that clear and updated information is being provided to candidates.

    • Works closely with the back office/fulfillment team to communicate transcript needs and requirements to candidates.

    • Establishes, develops, and maintains positive business and customer relationships.

    • Act in accordance with Teachers of Tomorrow core values.

    • Perform other duties as needed.


What We are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree from a leading university with academic excellence or commensurate experience in an educational or professional administrative capacity preferred.

  • 2 or more years of experience in a heavy customer service or sales-oriented position

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

  • Active listening

  • Action oriented

  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced (dynamic) environment.

  • Excellent active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to positively contribute to organizational culture.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
