About Us: At Miaplaza, our vision is to make online learning more effective than ever before. We apply the most successful approaches in virtual education to create online learning platforms where students from different backgrounds can be successful, including kids with learning disabilities. Our platforms allow users to personalize each student’s learning path in a way that exceeds the possibilities of the traditional classroom setting. Our main K-8 curriculum platform is Miacademy, and our high school platform is MiaPrep.

Miaplaza embraces diversity and equal opportunity. We are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. The more inclusive we are, the better our work will be.

As part of our mission to reach more students and have a greater impact, we launched MiaPrep Online High School (MOHS), an accredited online private school, which has further grown to serve our families’ various educational needs. Our inaugural school year was the 2022-23 year, and we continue to grow at a fast pace as we work to establish strong systems for student success and external partnerships that provide additional opportunities to our students.

At MOHS, our vision is to bring online education to the next level by offering a flexible virtual schooling option for families. Our support services at MOHS include opportunities for students to receive online support from highly qualified teachers, participate in social opportunities and extracurriculars, and work toward their high school diploma using an individualized academic plan.

The Student Support Specialist will serve an integral role in our continued growth by taking primary responsibility for managing academic interventions, developing individualized success plans to help students reach their goals, and advising MOHS administration on refinements to our intervention process. The Student Support Specialist will work under the direction of MOHS administration and in collaboration with our academic counseling team.

Our student base is growing rapidly and we are currently hiring for multiple positions across several departments! Our expansion stems from two key factors: our commitment to providing exceptional educational content to our students by scaling our team with passionate individuals, and our pursuit of new opportunities to enhance our students' learning experiences by broadening our capabilities and expertise as an organization.
