Summary:


As a Senior Product Line Manager at ADT, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the security hardware and systems for home security, from concept to end-of-life. Reporting to the Head of Consumer Product, you will play a critical role in driving the product roadmap, developing product requirements, and ensuring the success of our consumer product line.


Key Responsibilities:




  • Product Strategy and Roadmap:

    • Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for ADT's consumer security hardware and systems.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product priorities and align with business objectives.

    • Drive the development of product roadmaps, including defining features, prioritizing releases, and setting timelines.




  • Product Lifecycle Management:

    • Lead the product lifecycle management process from concept through end-of-life, ensuring products meet market needs and business goals.

    • Define product requirements and specifications based on customer feedback, market trends, and business requirements.

    • Work closely with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to bring new products to market on time and within budget.

    • Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.




  • Product Requirements Documentation:

    • Write detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) that clearly articulate product features, functionality, and user experience.

    • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to translate PRDs into actionable development plans and specifications.




  • Existing Product Management:

    • Manage the existing portfolio of consumer security products, including hardware devices.

    • Drive product enhancements and updates to meet evolving customer needs and market trends.




  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure successful product launches and ongoing support.

    • Provide product expertise and support to internal stakeholders, including training, product demonstrations, and sales presentations.




Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, preferably in home security industry.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing consumer hardware and software products from concept to launch.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate market insights and data into actionable product strategies.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

  • Experience writing detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and defining product specifications.

  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and tools is a plus.

  • Passion for technology and innovation, with a customer-centric mindset


Pay and Benefits Disclosure:


The salary range for this role is $118,400 - $177,600 and is based on experience and qualifications.Certain roles are eligible for annual bonus and may include equity. These awards are allocated based on company and individual performance. We offer employees access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and paid time off among others. Employees accrue up to 120 hours in their first year. Your accrual rate increases after your first year. We also offer 6 paid holidays.
