The role


We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team at Augmenta. You will be expected to wear many hats: first responder, build management, capacity planning and monitoring. Provide a pragmatic “best practices” approach, which should be demonstrated in previous work experiences.


This role reports to the VP of Engineering.


What you will do



  • Deploy and configure web infrastructure and applications

  • Monitoring Infrastructure for availability, performance and security

  • Devise appropriate release procedures for applications and services

  • Plan and upgrade the infrastructure and products

  • Recommend and implement tools for performance, security and availability

  • Automate processes where possible

  • Ensure compliance to security risks

  • Operational support, raise alerts to development team


About you



  • 1+ years experience with Docker and container orchestration systems (AWS ECS, Kubernetes)

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services strongly recommended (ECS. RDS, IAM, EKS)

  • Linux administration experience (CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian)

  • Experience with CI/CD processes and tools, automated builds and deployments

  • Experience in configuration management (CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform)

  • Experience with monitoring tools

  • Strong scripting experience

  • Clear communication

  • Proficiency in Python and or Go.

  • Certification in AWS such as Solution Architect, DevOps Engineer.

  • Well versed in DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP networking and security


Your education



  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
