As part of the Global Portfolio & Strategy Team, you will be responsible for generating critical business and market intelligence used for global strategic planning, new product development, M&A/Partnership assessment, and commercial enablement. You will work cross-functionally across Commercial, Finance, R&D , Regional and other relevant teams and are expected to conduct primary/secondary research to draw valuable and proprietary insights which will contribute to accelerating ASP’s strategic decision making.



Key areas of focus include:



  • Market and competition: Establish and maintain market models to assess market size, growth, and competitive share for ASP’s core and adjacent markets. Perform customized analysis for specific markets, customer segments, or products to support business cases and M&A/Partnership white papers

  • Customer insights: Support Product Managers and other stakeholders in effectively conducting and drawing insights from Voice of Customers (VOCs) and Voice of Experts (VOEs). Develop and maintain processes which support synthesis of key customer insights and translating them into strategically relevant information

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities





  • Strong knowledge of market research tools and methodologies

  • Comfortable working in uncertainty and driving results

  • Business fluency in English, additional languages an asset

  • Strong analytical skills (proficient in Excel)

  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills (proficient in PowerPoint)

  • Problem solving and decision-making skills

  • Relentless curiosity and experience in uncovering deep customer needs

  • Experience in the dynamic and heavily regulated world of healthcare

  • Courageous and Continuous improvement mindset

  • Highly collaborative as means to achieve organizational impact and business results

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high energy, innovative environment

Requirements/Qualifications





  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, chemistry / microbiology or other medical field is required. Master’s Degree in either business administration, engineering, or marketing is preferred

  • 3 years of experience in a Market Research, Business Strategy, Marketing, or Consulting required

  • Experience working with global teams is preferred

  • E xperience in medical device an d/or infection prevention is preferred

National: The salary range for this position is $79,700 - $147,900



This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.



Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
