About the Role:




We are seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance server-side applications and APIs that power our cutting-edge products

Responsibilities:



1. Design, develop, and implement robust and efficient backend systems using Node.js and other relevant technologies

2. Build and maintain RESTful APIs that adhere to best practices and industry standards

3. Collaborate with the frontend team to ensure seamless integration between client and server-side components

4. Implement and optimize database solutions, including schema design, data modeling, and performance tuning

5. Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of backend systems through proper coding practices and testing

6. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality

7. Continuously improve and refactor existing codebase to enhance performance, maintainability, and extensibility

8. Monitor and troubleshoot issues, providing prompt resolutions and improvements

9. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the backend development ecosystem



Requirements:

1. 3.5+ years of experience in backend development, preferably with Node.js

2. Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and implementation

3. Proficient in database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and database optimization techniques

4. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows

5. Familiarity with modern web development practices, including security, caching, and performance optimization

6. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

7. Strong communication and teamwork abilities

8. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience



Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices (e.g., CI/CD, containerization, monitoring)

2. Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems

3. Familiarity with testing frameworks and practices (e.g., unit testing, integration testing)

4. Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies

5. Passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies

Preferred:

1) Experience with serverless computing (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions)

2 )Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack)

3) Knowledge of network protocols and security principles (e.g., TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, OAuth)


4) Proficiency in designing and implementing real-time applications and RESTful APIs using Express.js and Node.js. Your hands-on experience with these technologies enables you to develop efficient and scalable backend solutions that deliver exceptional performance and responsiveness
