We have an exciting rare opportunity for the exceptional software engineering leader to make a big impact in rentals!



This new 1 year old Enterprise Customer Experience team of 4 was started to focus on our 6 year old customer portal. This team will continue to provide our large rental property management customers with additional:





  • Informative ad product performance and rental market reports.

  • Self serve features that allow our customers to manage their ad products

faster, when they want

About the role


We are looking for a software engineering manager who has both current technical and leadership abilities. This role requires an expert leader who can mentor engineers on technical and soft skills.



The successful candidate’s main responsibilities are to support their manager, team and the customer portal and associated systems.



What You'll Do:



  • Lead the scoping, design, architecting, development of robust and user friendly services and features.


  • Lead and mentor engineers who are on entry to principal levels, and can jump in to contribute in coding when the small team is low in bandwidth


  • Partner with product managers, designers, and other project stakeholders to effectively collaborate to deliver on projects successfully.


  • Continuously review our systems for optimization/refactoring opportunities and action on them.



This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $165,600.00 - $264,500.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location


Who you are



  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a closely related field with software engineering training.


  • At least 10 years of hands-on professional software development, with demonstrated backend (e.g. Java, SQL, microservices) and frontend (e.g. Javascript, typescript, React, Webpack) coding ability.


  • At least 3 years in a leadership role, successfully mentoring and growing a team with engineers on different levels.


  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills required to successfully work with partners on various disciplinary teams.


  • Bonus: Google Ad Manager, Salesforce, Zuora
