What You Will Be Doing
In this dynamic role, you will serve as a cornerstone of growth for MindSumo, an MBO Partners company. MindSumo helps companies crowdsource breakthrough ideas and insights from a global community of creative problem solvers. The Innovation Project Manager is responsible for adhering to revenue expectations and annual financial goals by managing the end-to-end sales cycle and pipeline, including overseeing the client relationship and project management post-sale. Through strategic outreach and relationship-building, you'll not only promote our unique service offering, but also contribute directly to our clients innovation and growth.
In this role you will:



  • Construct prospect list and reach out leads via LinkedIn and/or email drip campaigns


  • Set up and execute introductory calls to pitch and qualify


  • If qualified, work prospect through sales cycle with diligent follow up, including scheduling additional calls, creating challenge drafts, and working with procurement


  • Once signed, continue to work with client on brainstorming potential MindSumo projects and creating drafts to be launched


  • Hold monthly pipeline assessments and launch/manage challenges as they arise


  • Put together and hold quarterly trend analyses to add value


  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule


  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments



What You Need to Stand Out


  • Bachelors’ Degree in Business, Finance, Communication or another related field required


  • 3+ years of experience in Sales or a relevant industry where strong Account and Project Management skills were utilized


  • Driven, self-starter with a passion for value proposition


  • Good understanding of effective sales prospect strategies and methodologies


  • Experience in sales or leading project initiatives and change management in a large enterprise environment


  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to “influence” others


  • Strong organizational, analytical, and prioritization skills
