JOB SUMMARY:


The Legal Compliance Specialist will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in legal document management and regulatory compliance within the corporate legal framework. This role demands a professional who can independently manage legal and regulatory requirements, oversee the transition and maintenance of business agreements into an electronic database system (Cobblestone), ensure meticulous compliance in all legal communications and documentation, and act as the lead for managing all Business Agreements and Secretary of State Registrations for Venbrook and its subsidiaries.





KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Assist in the migration of all existing agency agreements to the Cobblestone electronic management system, ensuring seamless integration and accessibility.

  • Maintain and continuously update the electronic database of business agreements to ensure accuracy and legal compliance.

  • Serve as the primary lead for maintenance all Business Agreements and Secretary of State Registrations for Venbrook and its subsidiaries, reviewing and ensuring alignment with legal standards.

  • Collaborate closely with the Legal Counsel to standardize and secure the storage of contractual documents.

  • Provide expert advice and support on legal compliance projects and initiatives directed by Legal Counsel.

  • Enhance and refine document management processes to improve efficiency and compliance.

  • Ensure accurate, timely, and professional management of all legal documentation.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:



  • Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Extensive experience in legal document management or a similar role within a legal or compliance department.

  • Proficiency with electronic document management systems, particularly Cobblestone.

  • Comprehensive understanding of legal terminology and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent organizational skills with an exceptional attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills, capable of handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under stringent deadlines.
