General Description:


The Global Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to senior management and business leaders across multiple regions or countries, providing HR expertise and guidance to drive organizational success. This role involves understanding the business's needs, implementing HR strategies, and ensuring HR practices are consistent and compliant on a global scale.


The Global HRBP plays a pivotal role in bridging the organization's strategic objectives and its local workforce; ensuring that HR practices and initiatives contribute to the overall success and sustainability of the organization on a regional scale. This role demands a high level of strategic thinking, cultural sensitivity, and adaptability to manage HR challenges across different regions and cultures.


Essential Functions:


Strategic HR Leadership:



  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business goals and objectives within the region.

  • Develop and implement HR initiatives, policies, and programs to support regional business objectives.


Talent Management:



  • Oversee regional retention and development strategies.

  • Advise on workforce planning and succession planning.

  • Consult with country teams on continous performance management practices.

  • Provide guidance on employee performance, feedback, and improvement plans.


Talent Acquisition:



  • Oversee recruitment needs for country teams within the region; assisting with job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and offers.

  • Support country teams with scheduling interviews with various stakeholders.

  • Responsible for coordinating onboarding of new hires, conducting new hire orientations, and scheduling routine check-ins.

  • Support country teams with onboarding best practices.


Employee Relations:



  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on employee relations matters.

  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices across regions while considering local compliance requirements.

  • Source and vet outside counsel vendors, when needed.

  • Ensure HR practices and policies comply with local labor laws and regulations.

  • Manage and mitigate HR-related legal risks.


Compensation and Benefits:



  • Partner with Global Total Rewards team on compensation and benefits strategies that attract and retain top talent.

  • Ensure competitive compensation structures and benefits programs.


HR Analytics:



  • Use HR data and analytics to make informed decisions and provide insights to senior leadership.

  • Monitor key HR metrics and drive data-driven HR initiatives.


Change Management:



  • Support organizational change initiatives and ensure effective change management practices.


Diversity and Inclusion:



  • Promote initiatives to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.

Requirements:

Experience Required (education/work):



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • 5+ years of HR experience, including significant experience in a multinational or global HRBP role.

  • Strong understanding of global HR practices, laws, and regulations, particularly for countries within the region

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Strategic thinking and the ability to drive HR initiatives aligned with business goals.

  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and data analytics tools.

  • Relevant HR certifications (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) can be an advantage.


Competencies:



  • Ability to travel regionally up to 25% of the time and internationally periodically.

  • Immediate travel may be required depending on circumstance.

  • Fluency in English and at least one local language.

  • Strategic point of view that aligns with the goals of the organization.

  • Anticipate the needs of the company, operate with a solutions-mindset and pivot as the environment changes.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Highly organized with attention to detail.

  • Capable of working individually and within a team setting within a complex, multifaceted organization, and with minimal supervision.
