The Human Resources Manager plays a crucial role in driving Planet Depos' (PD) success by fostering an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes quality, productivity, and adherence to the highest customer service standards. This position is pivotal in managing the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources functions, ensuring the recruitment and continuous development of a superior workforce.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Human Resource Planning:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives. Address employee relations issues and manage conflicts effectively.
Recruitment and Staffing:
- Manage the new hire and onboarding process, collaborating with other departments (e.g., IT for workspace and equipment) to deliver an exceptional experience, ensuring smooth integration of employees into the team.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies in collaboration with the executive team to meet the organization's needs and goals.
- Post job ads on various platforms, including job boards, college career services offices, professional associations, and the company's website.
- Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and maintain a one-year filing system for qualified applications.
- Coordinate interviews, including scheduling and conducting phone screenings.
- Maintain an applicant tracking log and both paper and electronic files.
Performance Management:
- Implement performance management systems, including evaluations and development plans.
- Identify training needs, develop training programs, and ensure staff professional development.
Payroll Processing and Expense Management:
- Train new employees in expense policies and procedures.
- Review monthly out-of-pocket expense reports for payroll payment.
- Process payroll for employees and 1099 contractors, including bonus/incentive pay, out-of-pocket expense reimbursements, tracking PTO, and benefit and 401k election changes.
- Lead employee benefit audits.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they remain competitive.
- Establish salary bands and ensure clarity in job roles and descriptions.
- Assist employees with enrollment and address any questions or issues that may arise.
- Assist employees with enrollment in benefits programs, including the Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA), and address any questions or issues that may arise.
- Manage the administration of ICHRA, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing guidance to employees on its benefits.
Policy Formulation and Compliance:
- Develop and revise HR policies to ensure legal compliance.
Company Culture Champion:
- Mentor and coach company and HR department personnel.
- Plan and oversee company events.
Change Management:
- Lead organizational change initiatives and oversee the exit interview process.
Diversity and Inclusion:
- Advocate for and promote diversity within the workplace.
HR Metrics and Reporting:
- Utilize analytics to inform decision-making and measure HR effectiveness.
Legal Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with HR state and federal regulations and update policies and procedures as required.
Other Duties:
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Fully Remote
SHIFT:
8:00am - 5:00pm EST Mon - Fri
COMPENSATION:
$100,000 - $125,000 annually

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resource management, or equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
- Minimum of five years of experience in an office or administrative setting.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with Paylocity is a plus.
- SHRM and/or HRCI certification preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Ability to readily adapt to changing requirements.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize.
- Proactive, driven, and enthusiastic about HR processes.
- Customer-minded approach to HR solutions and strategies.
