Scrum Master

Job Description



CSCI Consulting is hiring a Scrum Master for a long-term project with the State of Indiana. The Scrum Master will be supporting two project teams and will be working in a SAFe Agile framework on an unemployment insurance initiative. Support will include working on modernization or enhancement features



Responsibilities

• Provide Agile coaching to the teams.


• Mitigate blockers and support iteration execution.


• Schedule and facilitate team meetings: Daily Sync, Iteration Planning, Iteration Review, Iteration Retrospective


• Oversees the efforts of direct reporting resources and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years working in an Agile development environment.


• 5+years serving as a Scrum Master.


• Significant understanding of SAFe.


• Agile SAFe certification preferred.


• Experience with the Atlassian suite, (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, SynapseRT).


• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with a team mindset.


• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.


• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
