Specific to this role, the People team has a mission to support the mission of KCL through innovative and transparent people programs that attract and retain the members of our team and elevate their skills and capabilities







KCL will currently consider applicants who reside in the following states: Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Wisconsin. This team also works central time hours

Responsibilities:



  • Project Management: Drive the implementation and changes to key HR programs.

  • Strategic HR Support: Assist in evaluating organizational health and enhancing employee relations.Support the implementation of performance management systems and career development initiatives.Contribute to retention and rewards programs.

  • Process Enhancement: Propose ideas for organizational improvement and contribute to a culture of continuous learning. Explore resources like openorg.fyi to facilitate positive change.

  • Business Partnership: Collaborate with designated departments at KCL, offering HR expertise and support.Drive cross-functional products such as our careers page revamp and our Manager Training guides.

  • People Strategy: Contribute to career progression and inclusive onboarding efforts, particularly in our all-remote structure.

  • Recruiting Support: Assist in attracting, interviewing, selecting, and onboarding talent aligned with organizational goals.

  • Data Analysis: Identify opportunities to utilize data for decision-making and provide insights to business leaders.Ensure our HR systems are clean and accurate based on company policies and industry best practices.

  • Employee Relations Assistance: Support managers in navigating employee relations challenges and staying compliant with best practices.

  • Benefits Administration: Assist in administering competitive benefits programs and communicating them internally and externally.

  • People Ops Program Support: Help implement HR programs smoothly, ensuring widespread adoption and measurable success.

  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively across the organization to achieve HR goals.


Requirements



  • At least 3 years of experience in HR or related fields.

  • Ability to develop trusted advisor relationships.

  • Familiarity with benefits programs management.

  • Understanding of basic U.S. employment law.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Tech-savvy with familiarity with HR systems like Trinet, Lever and Lattice.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Remote role with required central time work hours.
