About the Role:

As a Software Developer I at MCS, you will play a key role in developing our software, which is used by over 800 Housing Authorities across the United Sates. You will use your growing knowledge of software development, in collaboration with your problem-solving skills, to ensure our customers are provided with an optimal, user-friendly software experience.

Expected Starting Salary:

You will be responsible for developing the core software that is utilized by our housing clients. You will use your expert knowledge of software development, in collaboration with your problem-solving skills, to ensure our customers are provided optimal, user-friendly software experience.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:



  • Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications

  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software

  • Recommend and execute improvements

  • Integrate software components and third-party programs

  • Verify and deploy programs and systems

  • Create technical documentation for reference

  • Work within a team of developers

  • Be reliable and punctual in reporting for work and taking designated breaks




Qualifications & Requirements:



  • You must have an Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience

  • You are passionate about developing first-rate software

  • You can work both independently and collaboratively to solve complex issues

  • Experience preferred in developing web applications using Microsoft Visual Studio

  • Experience preferred in developing with C#, Javascript, and ASP.Net

  • Experience preferred in using Microsoft SQL Server

  • Experience preferred in understanding frameworks such as: PHAjax, Bootmagic, and Bootstrap

  • Experience preferred in using Azure DevOps
