As a junior email designer, you’ll work with our team of Creative Services professionals to deliver visually appealing and effective email designs for the biggest names in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
Essential Functions
Email Design: Create eye-catching, professional emails that align with the strict customer requirements of enterprise-level pharmaceutical clients and email design best practices.
Responsive Design: Develop email layouts that render properly within the most popular devices, operating systems, and screen sizes.
HTML Skills: Translate designs into HTML for seamless integrations with various email service platforms (ESPs). Hand coding skills required.
Quality Assurance: With a high attention to detail, serve as a final check for others’ work before it is submitted to our email deployment team
Stay Current: Keep up with industry trends and new advancements in email coding and design.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Required
Two to Three (2-3) years related work experience required in both HTML coding for email and email design experience with a creative background. A well-rounded graphic designer should have a good grasp of the following essentials skills as they will be pivotal in the day-to-day work from an email design perspective.
- Demonstrated proficiency with the Adobe Suite particularly Dreamweaver, XD and Photoshop.
- Foundational knowledge of graphic design including the principles of design such as typography, color theory, and layout.
- Understanding of email coding and marketing best practices and legalities including CAN-SPAM Act
- Knowledge of email testing services such as Litmus and Email on Acid
- Knowledge/experience in working with ESPs specifically Acoustic/Silverpop and Responsys a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate effectively with various levels in the organization (written and oral).
- Experience in user training and running online meetings preferred.
- Demonstrate strong problem solving, analytical and customer service skills.
- Broad knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry preferred.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $47,200.00 - $70,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
