Role Summary


New York Life’s Corporate Marketing group is seeking an Associate Web Producer with a focus on supporting day-to-day operations within our NYL.com Web Production team.




This role will sit within our Web Production team and handle coordination of our intake and process website requests for www.newyorklife.com through our end-to-end web production process, manage ongoing webpage reviews in accordance with our NYL compliance and legal requirements, and support project workstream management for our Corporate Marketing-led website projects.




Key Responsibilities



  • Coordinates intake of website requests and ensures all necessary information per request is added to our Web Production ticketing system.

  • Serve as key point of contact for our continuous website reviews and updates in accordance with our Compliance and Legal processes to ensure consistent adherence to applicable regulations.

  • Responsible for making sure key stakeholders are kept informed of website request status and that any/all open questions are tracked and addressed in a timely manner.

  • Ensures website production process is aligned to on all NYL.com Marketing-led workstreams.

  • Generates and maintains process documentation as needed.

  • Adherence to NYL.com Project records retention rules.




Basic Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of work experience within a web production role (or similar operational role within large-scale heavily matrixed web or marketing organizations).

  • Experience with marketing and/or web production project management systems such as JIRA, Asana, Workfront, Airtable or similar.

  • Desired knowledge and/or experience with website production (content/design, SEO, stakeholder reviews and approvals, adherence to legal reviews and approvals, adherence to website governance requirements, etc.).

  • Experience with managing multiple projects in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.

  • Experience with website publishing software and CMS systems is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is preferred (e.g., PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams, etc.).

  • In collaboration with Production team, solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using education and/or equivalent experience, judgment and precedents

  • Skilled at leveraging existing process while always on the lookout for opportunities to reduce process friction and optimize where possible.

  • Takes to heart having a team-first mentality and demonstrates the ability to build cross-functional relationships.

  • Comfortable working within processes and workflows that are in an ongoing state of improvement and evolution according to the needs of the business.

Salary range:
