Our team develops products within Akamai's Zero Trust Security Platform. We specialize in delivering highly scalable access-based security products to our customers via on-premises and Saas offerings.

Achieve high-impact milestones contributing to our success:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be developing using Golang and Perl. Research new technologies, decide how to extend and improve our software as well as introducting new features and capabilities.

As a Software Engineer Senior, you will be responsible for:

• Developing backend applications using Golang and Perl


• Designing schemas, migrations, and manage NoSQL databases (REDIS and Cassandra)


• Architecting modular services: DevOps, CI/CD


• Maintaining and extending our platforms built on Kubernetes

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 5+ years software development experience and a bachelor's degree or equivalent.


• Have experience building applications using backend languages (Golang,Perl)


• Have exceptional experience with object oriented programming, network programming, and test driven development


• Possess an understanding of the Linux operating system


• Have experience with DevOps methodology and using CI/CD tools like Gitlab CI


• Have experience using a operating Kubernetes at scale


• Possess excellent communication skills, be self-driven, positive and an effective team player
