Role Summary


New York Life’s Corporate Marketing group is seeking an experienced Web Producer who plays a key role in producing integrated and effective digital solutions on NYL.com to support Corporate initiatives and Strategic Business sub-sites.




As a member of the NYL.com Web Production team, this role will support in strategically partnering with key stakeholders around the organization to plan and lead delivery of web activations that align to business goals and drive results.





Key Responsibilities


Product Development & Delivery



  • Manage project plans and schedules for delivery of NYL.com experiences across varying teams.

  • Participate in discovery sessions to gather product requirements and ensure the development of new web experiences align to defined strategies.

  • Provide actionable feedback and recommendations that drive strategic initiatives and issue resolution.

  • Provides industry experience to solve complex digital challenges and makes strategic decisions to achieve program goals.




Leadership



  • Develop understanding of business goals to steer prioritization, development, and positioning of projects.

  • Collaborate across the organization to enable digital experiences that contribute to the overall success of our consumer and recruitment marketing programs.

  • Work with a cross-functional team of UX, UI, Product Strategy, SEO, content, Authoring and Enablement and other key stakeholders to develop web experiences and ongoing website enhancements.

  • Observes changes within the digital marketing and insurance industry and recommend solutions /enhancements for future web optimizations.




Analytics and Measurement



  • Work with internal performance analytics team to report on key insights that inform web enhancements.

  • Work with internal / external teams to develop, conduct and assess online user tests to identify future enhancement opportunities.




Basic Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience.

  • 6+ years’ work experience within a web production role (or similar operational role within large-scale heavily matrixed web or marketing organizations).

  • Specialized depth of knowledge and/or breadth of experience with web product management (UX, UI, Content, SEO, HTML, coding principles, etc.).

  • Experience with managing multiple projects in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.

  • Understanding of offsite and onsite testing best practices, and how to leverage output to develop future feature enhancements.

  • Competence to use data and consumer insights to make strategic decisions.

  • Ability to anticipate market or business issues and recommend improvements / enhancements.

  • Conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions for unique and complex problems with track record of making sound business decisions.

  • Demonstrates leadership with a team first mentality and the ability to build cross-functional relationships.

  • Strong communication skills. Ability to communicate complex requirements and business objectives with team members who require that context to do their best work.

  • Skilled at leveraging existing process while always on the lookout for opportunities to reduce process friction and optimize where possible.

  • Takes to heart having a team-first mentality and demonstrates the ability to build cross-functional relationships.
