Copywriter (Temporary/Remote)

Quad, a marketing experience company serving premier brands, seeks an imaginative Temp Copywriter to work in partnership with one of our largest retail clients in the greater Pittsburgh, PA area. In this role, you will develop compelling and engaging copy that speaks to multiple audiences in accordance with the overall strategic vision of the brand. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative and can effectively manage deadlines. You will work with Creative, eComm and Marketing teams to craft channel-appropriate messaging in customer-facing materials.

Responsibilities:

• Expected hours are 8:30 AM-5:00 PM EST


• Write compelling, original and engaging content that is forward-thinking and aligned with brand personality and athlete content consumption habits


• Understand the intended audience by brand and develop content in a number of writing styles for a variety of audiences


• Craft and edit copy for a range of channels including email, paid and organic social, digital advertising and more


• Understand the competitive landscape for a variety of categories based on trends in the market


• Execute assigned projects to meet deadlines set forth by the Content Lead


• Identify risks/opportunities for projects and share roadblocks/solutions to continue driving the process forward


• Work closely and collaborate with Designers and other business partners to develop copy


• Provide copy for additional Marketing channels as needed; long-form content or subject lines

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of industry experience


• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communication, or Journalism
Previous digital/social writing experience is preferred
