Ginkgo Biosecurity is building next-generation biosecurity infrastructure and deploying the technologies global leaders need to predict, detect, characterize, and respond to a wide variety of biological threats.


Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for successful day to day account and operational management and of a portfolio of programs, serving as a main point of contact for clients. Using data analysis, implementing continuous improvement principles to our processes to continually shape the program

  • Lead program onboarding, including program design and full scale execution for large scale biosecurity programs. This will require assessment of customer needs, planning of delivery operations strategy, and stakeholder management of various internal and external cross-functional resources

  • Lead programmatic strategy, serving as primary point of contact for client’s operational needs, collaborate with team to ensure growth and expansion of current programs and identification of new opportunities within and across customer segments, ongoing client management and support;

  • Ability to interpret client needs and voice to cross functional team members towards client success, function as a point person for internal teams.

  • Tackle the most urgent and immediate problems facing the company as a whole

  • Support and coordinate ongoing operational delivery with third-party partners and internal partners, and field, troubleshoot and escalate client concerns as they arise

  • Support special projects, as requested

  • Occasional off hours and weekend coverage

  • Travel (int’l and domestic) required for client meetings or team on-sites, up to 25%

  • Meaningfully and positively contribute to Concentric culture


Minimum Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree in life science or other closely related field

  • Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience

  • Proven track record of project ownership and results orientation in a team setting

  • Strong analytical skills, with an ability to develop fact-based and informed opinions

  • Self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and cross functionally in a matrixed environment

  • Detail oriented, strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask


Preferred Capabilities and Experience



  • Advanced degree in life science or MBA

  • Experience in consulting, international operations, and/or commercial operations.

  • Experience in directing small teams (1-3 employees)

  • Language skills a plus



Total compensation for this role is market driven, with a starting salary of $90k+, as well as company stock awards. Base pay is ultimately determined based on a candidate's skills, expertise, and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental & vision coverage, health spending accounts, voluntary benefits, leave of absence policies, Employee Assistance Program, 401(k) program with employer contribution, 8 paid holidays in addition to a full-week winter shutdown and unlimited Paid Time Off policy.
