Job Description:



Parsons is adding to our Federal E nvironmental T eam! We are hiring a Sr. Project Manager to support our environmental remediation sector . The ideal candidate will be a seasoned PM with a proven track record of managing mid to large-scale projects , including at least one PFAS RI project . In this role you’ll have the opportunity to manage Federal environmental investigation and remediation projects for a variety of government clients.

What You'll Be Doing:



  • Provide direction and /or management for medium to large- sized Federal environmental investigation and remediation projects for a full range of HTRW contaminants , with a particular focus on PFAS projects

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of client objectives , contract terms, and corporate policies .

  • Act as the c ompany representative with client and project stakeholders on your projects . This includes attending meetings with client s , leading team meetings, and preparing presentations for project and stakeholder meetings.

  • Assign responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths

  • Managing an interdisciplinary team of engineers, geologists, scientists, and field technicians

  • Provide proposal management support , including leading Task Order proposals



What Required Skills You'll Bring:



  • 4-year degree in Geology, Engineering, or related field

  • Professional registration (P G/PE)

  • 15 + years of related experience , including five years as a project manager encompassing overall project lifecycle from capture through closeout

  • Experience managing environmental investigation and remediation projects over $ 5 M in revenue , familiar with the integration of engineering/technical aspects, subcontracting and procurement activities , and have a working knowledge of standard contract type s . Pr e fer ence for experience managed firm fixed price (FFP) projects for the Government.

  • Experience executing and managing projects with PFAS as the key contaminant of concern. Understanding of the nature of the ever-changing DoD and regulatory landscape when working with emerging contaminants.

  • Proven ability to perform in a management capacity , with excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Strong leadership skills , including ability to lead virtually based inter disciplinary cross-functional teams


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:



  • Project Management Institute Project M anagement Professional (PMP) Certifi cation

  • Experience successfully managing environmental projects for F ederal government clients (USACE, A ir National Guard, Navy, e tc .)

  • Experience leading proposals , with additional hands-on participation in developing cost estimates and schedules

  • Working knowledge of industry practices and regulations

Salary Range:

$126,600.00 - $227,900.00
