The Product Owner support the success of the program through team collaboration, client relationships, coordination of program activities, schedule and task tracking, and other support responsibilities. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to analyze information needs and functional requirements



  • Working with internal stakeholders to manage and prioritize the product backlog



  • Analyzing client requests and provide direction on best way to support needs. Communicate and collaborate with external stakeholders and the internal project team to analyze information needs and functional requirements



  • Understanding and communicating the goals and needs of the customer and collaborate with IT teams to determine an approach that will support the customer



  • Adjusting rapidly to shifts in priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously that may include staff support relating to current operations



  • Producing and reviewing substantive and complex documentation reflecting detailed knowledge of functional areas



  • Working closely with the inquiry response and education, training, and outreach teams to deliver training materials and other documentation



  • Coordinating and facilitating meetings as needed to ensure program objectives are met



  • Providing timely schedule inputs and status reporting to PSP management and alert of any issues or risks



  • Working complex helpdesk cases for assigned products and program areas



  • Providing customer briefing and presentation support







Required Skills and Experience:






  • BS with 5 years or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience



  • Experience in coordinating throughout the SDLC on a software development implementation project team



  • Experience analyzing, documenting, and communicating system and business processes









  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients and internal stakeholders



  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)



  • Experience working in an agile environment (experience working with JIRA preferred)



  • Candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance and must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years







Preferred Skills and Experience:






  • Health Care Industry, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), or other Federal Government contracting experience



  • Supervisory and project management experience is a plus



  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex topics to management and other stakeholders



  • Experience presenting to medium-large audiences



  • Ability to resolve issues with little oversight; ability to gather and analyze information skillfully and develop alternative solutions



  • Experience working in an agile environment and experience with standard scrum ceremonies



  • Experience working with requirements team and/or gathering customer requirements to design software



  • Salesforce experience and/or certifications

The likely salary range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range
