Commercial Binding Assistant Underwriter

Arlington/Roe, a family-owned property/casualty wholesaler and managing general agency since 1964, has an outstanding opportunity for a Commercial Binding Assistant Underwriter servicing agents within Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, and Nebraska. For this specific position, Arlington/Roe is looking for candidates located within the central and upper Midwest to service our agents.

Education:

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.

Qualifications:

• 3 plus years of Commercial Lines experience with exposure to underwriting


• E&S wholesale experience is preferred


• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 products to include but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook


• Strong multi-tasking and able to prioritize


• Strong organizations skills and is flexible in a fast-paced environment

Essential Functions:

• Underwriting renewal business


• Processing endorsements, cancellations, invoices and audits


• Supporting the underwriter


• Corresponding daily by phone and email with our agencies and carriers


• Documenting files
