Job Description:

Imagine yourself working every day with teams of dedicated technical staff and sharpening your presentation and process skills. That’s what the Associate Integration Services Consultant does at CoreLogic. As a member of the Underwriting Integration Services team, you’ll help customer developers use various CoreLogic APIs to streamline the processing of property insurance underwriting for companies primarily in North America. The team also interacts daily with other professional teams within CoreLogic including Client Services,

Development, Product, Project Management, Sales, Technical Support, and others.

What does a successful candidate look like?

  • As a member of the Underwriting Integration Services team, you’ll be someone with a curious and analytical focus who isn’t afraid to step forward and do the occasional presentation.

  • You’re interested in learning various insurance underwriting applications and explaining how to use them to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • The underwriting applications you support are implemented in many ways by our customers. You’re excited by all the possibilities and how you can apply your knowledge to help our customers get work done more efficiently.

  • We all bring our full unique selves to work, and this helps build a strong and dynamic team. You are respectful and supportive of other team members.

What does success in this position look like?

  • During the first month or two, you’ll be in training. After that, you’ll be working on gradually more complex practical exercises that will lead you into real customer work.

  • As your skills and understanding improve you’ll grow more comfortable and confident.

  • You’ll collaborate freely with your fellow team members.

  • Members of other teams will recognize you for your consistently high performance over time.

  • Customers will grow to depend on your expertise and helpful advice.

  • You will have opportunities to expand your skills by supporting additional products. That would require learning new applications and APIs.

Job Qualifications:

  • An Insurance background is helpful, but not required (The underwriting side of Property & Casualty is our specific area.)

  • Experience with APIs are preferred (REST and SOAP) and the ability to use tools like Postman and Ready API to do testing and support our customers.

  • We support developers, so some experience with how software gets written will be helpful.

  • Bilingual (French Canadian/English) would be a plus.

  • Documenting what we do is important now and for all future team members. We’ll teach you how to document your work and access the documentation already in place. You should also be able to step back and suggest where internal processes and documentation can be improved for the good of our team and customers.
