Job Overview


Fine Tune is seeking an innovative and experienced program manager to join our Energy and Utilities practice to support implementation and delivery of energy management services for new and existing Fine Tune clients. The leader of this role will report to Fine Tune’s VP of Energy & Utilities and will be tasked with assisting the buildout of key processes for our day-to-day operations in the energy management business along with regular interactions with clients regarding the status of their energy management programs.


Responsibilities and Duties



  • Provide analytical support for the development of energy policies and strategies

  • Conduct RFPs for electricity and natural gas services in deregulated markets

  • Identify cost optimization and spend reduction opportunities for clients in the areas of electricity, natural gas, and water

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement energy projects, including utility bill payment program management

  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders

  • Monitor and manage utility bill payments, ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Evaluate and optimize utility bill payment processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs

  • Monitor regulatory developments and technological advancements in the energy sector

  • Support business development activities by providing technical expertise and market insights


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field

  • Experience in energy management services or category management

  • General understanding of the energy industry with respect to market regulation, product types, pricing structures at the local, regional or national level

  • Familiarity with utility bill management and payment processes

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong critical thinking skills

  • Detail-oriented and organized

  • Ability to work remotely in a space free from distractions
