Graphic Designer

The Intapp creative team is looking for a designer to help round out our (growing) team. We’re looking for someone who has a passion for design — a creative person who enjoys finding solutions to difficult problems and is excited by the prospect of working on a team that’s growing and rapidly evolving the Intapp brand. You’ll collaborate with fellow designers, writers, product folks, field marketers, and sales specialists (to name more than a few). As with any smaller team, breadth and variety of work are perks. No one day is ever the same. In fact, if you have a passion for illustration, this could be the perfect mix of thoughtful design work in tow with your digital drawing chops






Key responsibilities (in this role, you will)

  Collaborate closely with creative director, project manager, designers, writers, and stakeholders
  


• 
  
  Prepare final, press-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing
  


• 
  
  Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production
  


• 
  
  Provide image retouching, clipping paths, and additional image manipulation
  


• 
  
  Package and prepare files for release to printers or media partners
  


• 
  
  Create PDFs for print and client review
  


• 
  
  Conduct (virtual) press checks
  


• 
  
  Prepare images for online and mobile applications
  


• 
  
  Maintain production files, including fonts, images, logos, and other artwork
  


• 
  
  Follow a development timeline to ensure tasks are being completed on time
  


• 
  
  Troubleshoot problems as they arise with both the creative team and the printer
  


• 
  
  Stay up-to-date with current graphic design trends, techniques, and software
  


• 
  
  This wonderful person will report directly to the creative director
  
  
  

Skills, knowledge, and expertise

• 
  
  A bachelor’s degree in design or other related studies preferred
  


• 
  
  Significant coursework in graphic design, print production, visual arts, or a related field and experience demonstrating clear knowledge of print production and design
  


• 
  
  Solid knowledge of software applications such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  


• 
  
  Some experience with digital content (social media, online ads, landing pages, and email campaigns)
  


• 
  
  At least a few years of experience self-organizing through a project management tool like Asana or Jira
  


• 
  
  Strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment (we promise that’s not code for terrible work-life-balance)
  


• 
  
  Bonus points if you also have illustration skills — this role could be 80% design/20% illustration work for someone with that creative mix
  


• 
  
  Adept at communicating with and educating stakeholders on creative strategy, so the strongest, most impactful deliverables a shipped
