The Field Training Manager (FTM), Medical Aesthetics will work contribute to sales success by proactively partnering with the Sr. Director of Sales Training, Sales Leadership, and other Commercial Teams (Marketing, Human Resources, Medical Affairs, Legal, Customer Service) in order to: support new hire onboarding, enhance product knowledge, contribute to key marketing initiatives, improve overall selling skills, build corporate culture, and support the ongoing development needs of the sales team. This person will continuously partner with Regional Sales Managers and Director to understand the needs of their teams and pull through coaching initiatives.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities



  • Expected to spend time in the field coaching Sales Professionals to ensure and optimize training plans

  • Partner with front-line sales leaders to understand the needs of their teams and receive input on what is taking place in the marketplace

  • Facilitate training for the sales team both in person and virtual

  • Identify knowledge gaps for the sales team and aid in developing creative and innovative solutions

  • Responsible for assisting in the facilitation of corporately run training classes and sales meetings

  • Attract and retain top sales representative

  • Attain or exceed sales plan through motivation and activation of field sales representatives.


Education


Minimum Required:



  • Bachelor level degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Science, or similar


Experience


Minimum Required:



  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, and/or managing field sales professionals

  • 5 plus years commercial experience in sales, sales training and/or marketing roles with documented success in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry

  • Aesthetic injectable experience, as well as launch experience


Preferred:



  • Leadership experience; ideally management experience

  • Prior certification as trainer for programs to build salesforce skills and culture such as Challenger Sale, Insights, Myers Briggs, Spin Selling, and PSS


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


Minimum Required:



  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly visible and dynamic environment is critical

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in leading sales teams or field management/training

  • Excellent coaching and facilitation skills as well as leadership presence

  • Develops and nourishes relationships with field sales to provide sales training and marketing initiatives with a clear understanding of field needs to support product positioning, address competitive promotional efforts, and to assess the success of the various communication tools

  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, set priorities, meet deadlines and develop workflow processes for multiple projects

  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Business travel (up to 80%) required to achieve the objectives of the position


Preferred:



  • Prior certification as trainer for programs to build salesforce culture
