The Area Vice President – Mortgage Solutions will coordinate and work as the leader of a team of sales executives. The desired candidate will lead nCino's mortgage solution initiatives and engagements to achieve success with nCino’s existing client base, as well as prospective clients



Responsibilities:


  • Lead a team of strategic solution sales executives and support them in meeting and exceeding their individual goals.

  • Collaborate and build strong interpersonal relationships with nCino’s core account teams and sales leadership to ensure proper engagement with Pre-Sales team, Internal Business Development team, Customer Success Managers, and clients.

  • Understand target market’s business needs and accurately articulate the nCino value proposition at the executive level.

  • Ensure team maintains day-to-day business process excellence by maintaining accurate forecasting and pipeline tracking, training and best practice development/sharing.

  • Support team as they close large, complex business-to-business transactions

  • Attract, hire and onboard top talent to continue supporting nCino’s continued growth with strategic solutions.

  • Access nCino’s system integrator ecosystem to drive and convert pipeline for our strategic solutions.

  • Work and coordinate across multi-functions/departments/individuals to drive desired results using prior experience of selling complex software.

  • Collaborate with other Sales Leaders to ensure that Partner and Inside Sales teams are providing sufficient support and on-track to contribute to ACV and pipeline goals.

  • Accountability for achieving set Sales goals.

  • Participation in meetings with product development leadership, bringing voice of customer to development that will be impactful to the nCino’s strategic solutions growth trajectory.

  • Maintain a superior level of market, customer, and product knowledge necessary to accomplish sales goals and objectives.

  • Align with Product Marketing to contribute to competitive analysis and other strategic initiatives.

  • Display competency of the nCino Bank Operating System and how the Retail, Deposit Account Opening and nCino IQ solutions provide significant incremental value to the platform.

  • Work in tandem with Sale Enablement to Assist in creation, delivery, and training efforts for the US Sales Organization.




Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years’ experience in software sales selling to financial institutions and 2+ years’ management experience; or combination of experience, education, and superior performance

  • Demonstrated ability to challenge executive decision makers, build consensus with client executives, and sell to the C-suite.

  • Strong listening skills and impeccable verbal and written communication ability; able to demonstrate software solutions onsite with client or via virtual meetings.

  • History of success in collaborative work environment; demonstrable ability to partner with nCino team members from product, sales, professional services, support, finance and others as required to accomplish sales goals and customer success.

  • Ability to travel to client locations within the United States as required to accomplish and exceed goals.

  • Knowledge and experience selling into the Retail Banking Space as defined by: All Consumer Lending Products, Small Business Lending, All Deposits Services, and a preference for Onboarding.

  • Knowledge and experience with innovative fintech offerings like artificial intelligence, machine learning, automated financial analysis, commercial/retail pricing and relationship profitability, and intelligent product and service suggestions.

  • Proven knowledge of the Salesforce Platform.

  • Ability to articulate and evangelize the value of the nCino.

  • Successful contract negotiation and deal forecasting experience.




Travel Requirements


  • Frequent travel as required across United States to accomplish and exceed goals
