What You'll Do
- Prepare, cut, package, and label fresh fruit according to Pete's quality and presentation standards.
- Ensure all products are fresh, visually appealing, and meet food safety requirements.
- Rotate product regularly to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
- Create attractive displays that showcase the quality and variety of our fresh-cut fruit.
- Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming produce.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area, following all food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Assist customers with product selection and answer questions about our fresh produce offerings.
- Support the Produce Department with additional duties as required.
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Interest in working with fresh, high-quality food.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a collaborative team.
- Previous produce or food preparation experience is considered an asset but is not required.
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, and weekends.
