We are seeking an experienced HVAC Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will assist the company in making profitable business decisions by gathering information and preparing accurate estimates. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and has a proven track record as an HVAC Estimator.
Responsibilities
- Fully understand the project scope and requirements by studying documentation, meeting with clients, and visiting relevant locations
- Collect necessary documentation such as plans, drawings, and project specifications
- Determine the key variables for cost and conduct research to determine expected labor and materials costs
- Gather bids and negotiate with service providers to secure the best possible prices
- Create and submit estimates
- Complete tin take-offs
- Assist with project managing
- Previous experience as an Estimator is preferred
- Ability to forecast building costs and knowledge of estimation formulas
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills
