Fish Creek Pet Hospital is looking for a General Practice Veterinarian with a strong interest in dentistry and soft tissue surgery to join our established, collaborative team in Calgary, Alberta.
We have a real need for a veterinarian who is excited to take on cases and help grow these areas of our practice. If you enjoy performing dental procedures, tackling surgical cases, and helping pets live healthier, more comfortable lives, this could be a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a large, well-equipped hospital.
Your Opportunity to Make an Impact
Fish Creek Pet Hospital is home to more than 20 veterinarians and over 100 support team members. Our size and resources allow us to care for a diverse caseload and support a wide range of veterinary services.
We're specifically looking for someone who brings enthusiasm and clinical interest in dentistry and soft tissue surgery, helping us meet the needs of our patients and clients while contributing to the continued development of these services.
In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
- Take the lead in dentistry and soft tissue surgery, performing procedures and helping grow these services within the hospital.
- Perform dental procedures, including dental assessments, cleanings, extractions, and other treatments appropriate to your experience and training.
- Perform routine and more involved soft tissue surgical procedures based on your skill set and interests.
- Work with a varied caseload, using your clinical judgment to develop treatment plans and provide high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with a large team of veterinarians, RVTs, and support professionals.
- Build strong client relationships through education, communication, and compassionate care.
- Continue developing your clinical skills and explore opportunities to expand your areas of interest.

We'd Love To Connect With a Veterinarian Who
- Holds a DVM degree and is eligible for licensure in Alberta.
- Has a particular interest in, and ideally experience with, dentistry and soft tissue surgery.
- Is enthusiastic about performing procedures and helping develop these services within a busy general practice.
- Values collaboration and enjoys working with a large, multidisciplinary team.
- Has strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to client and patient care.
- Is motivated to continue learning and developing their clinical abilities.
