Hypower is currently seeking an Electrical Estimator to join our team in our Jacksonville Location. The salary range depends on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Perform necessary research to produce accurate, complete, and competitive pricing.
- Understanding of Value Engineering and alternative design concepts
- Identifying missing scope
- Ability to perform NEC code compliance evaluations
- Take-off procedures, bid forms and specifications
- Accountability in proper file keeping
- Willingness to work whatever hours necessary to meet bid schedule
- Ability to learn new means and methods
- Continuously follow up on all bid projects.
- Electrical estimating experience.
- Proficiency with Accubid Pro, Live Count and other Trimble software products
- Good computer skills with working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and e-mail and estimating software
- Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced work environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented and efficient.
- Able to provide a high level of customer service.
