Kal Tire is looking for an experienced Commercial Tire Technician/Commercial Service Technician to join our Ottawa Commercial Store. In this hands-on role, you'll perform tire installations, repairs, and maintenance for commercial vehicles, delivering top-quality service while upholding the highest safety standards. This full-time, permanent position is available at our Ottawa store (2825 Sheffield Rd).

- This position offers starting wages of $26.48 per hour with wage progression opportunities up to $29.87 per hour based on experience.

- Perform inspections and maintenance, including checking inflation, tread wear, and overall condition to ensure tire safety, efficiency, and performance
- Communicate services performed by providing insights and recommendations for repairs and maintenance to improve vehicle performance
- Deliver professional fleet, roadside, and off-site tire services for commercial vehicles, minimizing downtime with fast and efficient support
- Adhere to Kal Tire’s safety protocols and quality standards in all tasks to ensure customer satisfaction and uphold the company’s reputation for excellence
- Valid Driver’s Licence (DZ licence is considered an asset).
- Experience in commercial tire service, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to inspect, diagnose, and service commercial vehicle tires and wheel assemblies safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tire services.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing demanding manual labour.
- Safety-focused and committed to following PPE and safe work procedures.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and job site conditions.
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency roadside or after-hours service calls when required.
