La mission de l’assembleur consiste à assembler du mobilier industriel et modulaire dans le respect des délais et des normes de qualité. Il opère et entretient les postes de travail afin d’assembler, d’aligner et d’ajuster des pièces, composantes ou unités fabriquées selon les spécifications établies, tout en suivant les procédures de fabrication en vigueur.

Fonctions et responsabilités :

• Assembler le mobilier selon les plans techniques

• Participer aux suggestions d’amélioration continue

• Vérifier la qualité une fois le mobilier terminé

• Récupérer les pièces nécessaires à l’assemblage

• Utiliser les outils de coupe de tubes et la scie sur table

• Utiliser des outils manuels, des outils électriques et d’autres équipements de ligne d’assemblage pour assembler les unités

• Tester et calibrer les pièces et mécanismes afin de s’assurer que tous les composants respectent les tolérances, les spécifications du produit et les normes de qualité

• Peut réparer ou ajuster de nouveau les pièces ou unités qui échouent aux tests ou qui ne respectent pas les niveaux de tolérance

• Tenir les registres quotidiens de production d’assemblage

• Maintenir un environnement de travail propre et organisé

Compétences/aptitudes requises :

• Savoir utiliser un ruban à mesurer en système impérial (pouces)

• Être ponctuel et assidu

• Avoir de la dextérité manuelle

• Être capable de lire un plan technique et des instructions normalisées d’assemblage

• Savoir travailler en équipe

• Être à l’aise avec les outils informatiques tels qu’une tablette

Formation et expérience :

• Diplôme d’études secondaires

• Solides compétences en leadership, en organisation et en analyse

• Capacité démontrée à gérer le changement, à faire croître les opérations et à bâtir des équipes performantes

Exigences physiques :

• Station debout constante

• Soulever jusqu’à 40 livres


Job Summary:

The assembler's mission will be to assemble industrial and modular furniture in compliance with deadlines and quality standards. Operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Assembling the furniture according to the technical plans

· Participate in suggestions for continuous improvement

· Check the quality after the furniture is finished

· Pick up the parts needed for assembly

· Use the tube cutting tools and table saw

· Uses hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units.

· Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards.

· May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels.

· Keeps daily assembly production records.

· Maintains a clean and organized work environment. 


Required Skills/Abilities:

· Use the Tape Measure in Imperial (inches)

· Be punctual and diligent

· To be skilled with your hands

· Be able to read a technical plan and assembly standard instructions

· Knowing how to work in a team

· Be used to using computer tools such as a tablet


Education and Experience:

· High school diploma

·  Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.

· Demonstrated ability to lead change, scale operations, and build high-performing teams.



Physical Requirements:

·        Constant standing
