Your Expertise
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing environment.
- Good mathematical skills.
- Highly organized individual with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read operation sheets.
- Perform a variety of duties to burr, blend and polish specific features on aircraft engine parts according to repair instructions.
- Work from operations sheets, engine manuals and standard practice manuals to perform duties called out in the repair process.
- Layout abrasives and air guns required for each part or operation. If needed, set-up holding devices such as rotary and hydraulic tables.
- Operate burr guns of different configurations to bring about dimensions required per repair instructions. Inspect own work using micrometers, calipers, verniers, GO-NOGO gages / pins and visual aids.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
