JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to support the general interior and exterior upkeep of the facility
- Assist with regular walkthroughs of the facility and grounds to help ensure basic safety compliance
- Help identify and report unusual conditions or malfunctions of heating, plumbing, and electrical systems, or any other maintenance-related incidents
- Assist with basic repairs, including sheetrock, flooring, and lighting, under the Supervisor's direction
- Handy, hands-on, and comfortable with basic construction and repair work
- Prior experience as a Maintenance Worker in an Assisted Living Facility is a big plus, but not required
- Comfortable taking direction and working as part of a team
- Ability to interact with residents with respect, patience, and dignity
