My client is a vertically integrated construction and development firm with a growing presence in the Las Vegas market, delivering projects across Southern Nevada. They operate across commercial, hospitality, multifamily, healthcare, and general contracting sectors, with typical project sizes ranging from fourteen to twenty two million dollars. With an active growth plan in the region, they are looking to add several estimators over the next few years.
Job Description
- Prepare detailed estimates for commercial, multifamily, higher education, hospitality, and retail projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and subcontractor proposals for accuracy and scope alignment
- Work closely with the Chief Estimator on pricing strategies and estimate development
- Evaluate and level subcontractor bids using tools such as Building Connected
- Conduct quantity takeoffs using AutoDesk Takeoff and Excel
- Assist with conceptual estimates and budgeting for early stage planning
- Collaborate with project managers and design partners to support preconstruction workflows
- Support growth of the Las Vegas estimating team as the office expands
The Successful Applicant
- Five or more years of estimating or assistant estimating experience in general contracting
- Experience estimating commercial projects of at least five million dollars or more
- Background in multifamily, hospitality, higher education, or retail construction
- Open to candidates with MEP or carpentry estimating experience if project scale aligns
- Strong knowledge of estimating software including AutoDesk Takeoff, Excel, and Building Connected
- Ability to work in a hybrid schedule and commute to the Las Vegas office
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Salary up to $120K+ (dependant on experiene)
