Job Responsibilities Include
- Determines printing job requirements by reviewing job specifications and assessing requirements for operation completion
- Sets up and uses various bindery machines for tasks involving sets of printed material, pamphlets, and other finishing operations of business forms and general printing
- Checks for quality, counts and other operation requirements
- Input information on computer for job/operation completion
- Supports shipping operation by wrapping/packing boxes, labeling, and preparing for carrier pickup using shipping software
- Other tasks as assigned
- Experience working in a print production facility or shop preferred
- Experience operating bindery equipment strongly preferred
- Mathematical aptitude/skills are required and mechanical skills are helpful
- Must be quality conscious with good organizational skills
- Able to efficiently follow workflow process to minimize downtime and repeated steps
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
