HONK is modernizing parking payments across North America. We help municipalities, universities, and private operators move from physical infrastructure to digital permits, mobile payments, and smarter operator tools.
The Role
We’re hiring a Senior Payment Product Manager to lead the next evolution of HONK’s payments platform.
This is not a requirements-taking role. We need someone in product who can figure out what we should build, explain why it matters, and drive the work from idea to shipped outcome.
You’ll work with engineering, design, finance, operations, and customer-facing teams to improve how drivers pay, how operators get paid, and how HONK scales a high-volume payments business.
What You’ll Own
- Identify high-impact payment opportunities and make clear product recommendations.
- Shape ambiguous problems into focused, buildable product bets.
- Own payment features from discovery through launch and iteration.
- Balance customer needs, operator needs, revenue, risk, and technical complexity.
- Work deeply with APIs, payment flows, reconciliation, integrations, and edge cases.
- Use data and feedback to measure whether what we shipped actually worked.
- 5+ years of product management experience.
- Experience in payments, fintech, B2B SaaS, or another operationally complex domain.
- Strong accounting and payments literacy: you understand why the numbers need to add up and how invoicing and payment flows work.
- Strong product judgment: you can say what to build, what not to build, and why.
- Comfort working with technical teams and turning messy problems into clear specs.
- Clear writing, strong communication, and high ownership.

- Reconciliation, settlement, or order-to-cash experience.
- Experience taking products from 0 to 1 or 0.5 to 1.
- Salary target: $130,000-$150,000 CAD, based on experience and location.
- Hybrid work, with flexibility to work outside the country for short periods each year.
