What you will be doing as a Tool Preparer:
In this role, you will ensure our production tools are clean and ready for use. Your efforts will directly contribute to maintaining our high standards of efficiency and quality. Play a crucial role in creating the future of flight and join the best in the business.
Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
- Tool Preparation: Prepare tools and fixtures by sanding, scraping, washing, and applying parting agents
- Tool Maintenance: Inspect returned tools, perform minor repairs, and move tools needing repair to the appropriate area
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records to track the status of tool fixtures
- Tool Handling: Ensure proper handling, storage, and timely movement of tools to scheduled areas
- Part De-bagging: Remove parts from packaging and bags as needed
- A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification is required
- Ability to work in shop conditions with potential exposure to ketone, parting agent, etc.
- General knowledge of tools is helpful
- Ability to stand for longer periods of time
