The Role

Cineflix Media is seeking a Senior Director, Enterprise Systems & AI Enablement to lead the practical implementation of our enterprise AI and technology transformation agenda.

This cross-functional role will work across the organisation to identify opportunities, modernise systems, redesign processes and embed effective AI-enabled ways of working. 

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Senior Director will partner closely with IT and leaders across Cineflix to translate business priorities into practical, measurable outcomes. Initial areas of focus may include Cineflix’s finance, rights management, production budgeting, payroll and planning systems, but the scope of the role extends across the organisation. This is a full-time role based in our Toronto, Ontario office on a hybrid, in-office schedule.

The Salary range for this role is CAD $150,000 - $200,000

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead the implementation of Cineflix’s enterprise AI agenda across corporate and operational functions.
• Identify and prioritise practical AI and automation opportunities that improve productivity, accuracy and decision-making.
• Translate business requirements into scalable AI-enabled solutions and workflows.

·       Lead the development and deployment of Cineflix-owned LLM capability for internal processes, reducing reliance on external tools and ensuring solutions are tailored to Cineflix’s workflows, data, security and governance requirements.

·       Establish responsible AI practices in partnership with IT, Legal, Privacy and business leaders.

• Collaborate with Creative AI leadership to align governance while maintaining clear areas of accountability.
• Develop and deliver a roadmap for modernising, connecting and, where appropriate, consolidating Cineflix’s core business systems.
• Improve the quality, accessibility and governance of enterprise data.
• Reduce reliance on manual processes, disconnected systems and uncontrolled spreadsheets.
• Lead systems integration, automation and modernisation initiatives in partnership with IT and functional leaders.
• Evaluate technology partners and solutions based on business value, security, scalability and cost.
• Lead the successful adoption of new systems, AI tools and redesigned processes.
• Partner with business leaders and HR to support communications, training and skills development.
• Help teams understand and adapt to changing roles, responsibilities and ways of working.
• Build shared ownership across functions and address barriers to adoption and measure implementation progress, employee adoption and realised business benefits.

Experience and Capabilities

• Senior experience in enterprise technology, AI enablement, business systems or digital transformation.
• Demonstrated success implementing practical AI, automation and workflow solutions.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional transformation programmes.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise systems, data governance, cybersecurity and vendor management.
• The ability to connect business needs with practical technology solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management, change leadership and communication skills.
• A collaborative, pragmatic and execution-focused leadership style.
• Experience in media, entertainment, production or another project-based organisation would be an asset.
