The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-caliber Retail Planning Change Agent to build and modernize our global planning and allocation engine from the ground up. Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will enjoy complete operational autonomy, high visibility, and a true seat at the strategic table—without micromanagement. This is a defining opportunity to architect the modern infrastructure that fuels our next chapter of growth.
Your Daily Adventures
Forget legacy spreadsheets and traditional planning. As Senior Director of Planning & Allocation, you will act as the core architect of our global inventory engine—leveraging predictive modeling, algorithmic markdowns, and AI to maximize gross margin across Full Price, Outlet, E-commerce, and Wholesale.
- Financial Planning & OTB Governance: Own top-down Merchandise Financial Plans (MFP) across all 4 channels, serving as the final authority on Open-To-Buy (OTB) budgets and aligning inventory investments directly with P&L targets.
- Algorithmic Inventory & Allocation: Oversee single-pool allocation across ~150 doors, using behavior-based store clustering and predictive modeling to eliminate size breaks, capture lost sales, and boost stock turn velocity.
- Predictive Trading & Margin Protection: Drive high-velocity weekly WSSI trading cadences, shifting from reactive promotions to automated, predictive markdown schedules that prevent margin leaks.
- AI Platform & Process Architecture: Lead the implementation of the Intelo AI platform, replacing siloed spreadsheets with a single source of truth and establishing a disciplined pre- and in-season corporate cadence.
- Team Leadership & Transformation: Direct and mentor a team of 9-10 professionals in category pods, upskilling their capabilities from manual data entry into high-impact strategic advisory roles.
- 12-18 years of progressive retail planning experience in premium apparel/lifestyle specialty retail, including 3+ years in direct leadership.
- Deep expertise in single-pool omnichannel models across retail, e-commerce, and wholesale.
- Mastery of MFP, OTB governance, WSSI cadences, and algorithmic markdown optimization.
- Proven experience leading, mentoring, and upskilling planning and allocation teams.
- Experience with advanced AI-driven planning solutions (Intelo, Blue Yonder, o9, etc.).
- Commercially sharp with strong executive presence and experience presenting directly to C-suite leadership.
- A group RRSP/DPSP plan, which includes a very generous 100% match from Psycho Bunny!
- On-site gym and on-site cafeteria / bistro with subsidized meals, including breakfast and lunch.
