Every successful project starts with a well-built estimate. As an Estimator at Eagle Builders, you’ll turn drawing,s specifications, and project information into accurate estimates that help projects move forward with confidence. You’ll analyze details, solve problems, identify opportunities, and work closely with teams to support successful projects.
Whether your experience comes from construction, estimating, manufacturing, or a related field, we’re looking for someone who enjoys working with numbers, learning new things, and finding practical solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Perform quantity take-offs and prepare detailed cost estimates
- Prepare project budgets, pricing, and quotations
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to gather pricing and project information
- Identify potential risks, cost drivers, and value-engineering opportunities
- Review project designs and specifications for practicality and cost-effectiveness
- Ensure estimates are accurate, complete, and submitted within required deadlines
- Support project teams throughout the pre-construction process
- Maintain estimating data, records, and documentation
- Follow company policies, procedures, and established estimating processes
- Analytical – enjoys breaking down complex information and finding solutions

- Organized – manages multiple priorities while meeting deadlines

- Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation
- Available Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime as required
- Minimum 44 hours per week
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Comfortable working with numbers, calculations, and technical information
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Experience estimating construction, manufacturing, or related projects
- Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Knowledge of commercial, industrial, or precast concrete construction
- Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and terminology
- Experience using estimating, drafting, or construction software
- Knowledge of Autodesk products such as Revit or AutoCAD
- Construction-related education, training, engineering technology, or practical experience in construction estimating
