Jovie is hiring experienced, engaging caregivers to provide in-home care for infants and toddlers with local families throughout Redwood City. This is a great opportunity for childcare professionals seeking a rewarding full-time nanny job with daytime hours, supportive leadership, and opportunities for growth.
What You’ll Do
- Provide safe, nurturing care for infants and toddlers
- Support feeding, naps, and daily routines
- Encourage learning through reading, play, and age-appropriate activities
- Communicate with parents about their child’s day
- Create a positive environment where children can learn and grow
- Monday–Friday availability preferred
- Most shifts occur between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM
- Typical shifts are 6–9 hours
- Work with vetted, local families
- Have at least 1 year of infant childcare experience
- Love working with infants and toddlers
- Are dependable and professional
- Communicate well with parents and children
- Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Can provide references (At least 2 related to childcare work; 1 character)
- Are least 18 years old
- Good to know: Experience may come from nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, church nursery, or other childcare settings

A: No. We welcome experience from nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, church nursery, and other childcare settings.

A: Assignments vary based on family needs, your availability, and scheduling preferences.
Q: What ages will I care for?
A: Most assignments involve infants and toddlers, though opportunities may occasionally include older children.

Q: What happens after I apply?
A: Our recruiting team will review your information and schedule an interview. Next, we will conduct screening and reference checks; and send an offer to join the team if qualified. You’ll join us for Orientation and Training on the Jovie Way, then we’ll match you with families that fit your experience and availability. You are paid every two weeks via direct deposit!
