In this position, you will execute end-to-end recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, candidate engagement, and offer management. You will work closely with the Recruitment Team Lead/Manager to understand role requirements and deliver qualified professionals across the clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle recruitment for IT/Business Professional contract roles in a fast-paced environment
- Screen candidates against job requirements to ensure strong technical and role alignment
- Proactively source candidates through databases, professional networks, referrals, and direct outreach
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for hard-to-fill roles
- Engage candidates through phone, virtual, and in-person interactions
- Maintain ongoing relationships with both new and past applicants
- Prepare candidate resumes, summaries, and skill matrices for client submission
- Accurately document candidate activity and communications in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Manage candidate and client expectations throughout the recruitment lifecycle
- Prepare candidates for client interviews and provide ongoing support
- Meet individual performance metrics as outlined in the ATS dashboard
- Mentor and support junior team members as needed
- Represent BeachHead professionally and promote company values in all interactions
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as an IT Recruitment Specialist
- Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment in a senior or similar capacity
- Strong time-management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders
- Solid understanding of the IT recruitment market, including roles, skillsets, compensation, and candidate availability
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR-related software
- Familiarity with professional networking platforms, social media, and resume databases
- Knowledge of Canadian labour legislation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional email writing and resume formatting
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
- Ability to work independently while escalating issues appropriately
- Strong candidate engagement and headhunting capabilities
- CAD 60,000 – CAD 90,000 annual base salary
